Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm Review

Hi Beauties,

I was in Boots the other day browsing, as you do and wanted to try something different for my lips.  Rimmel is one of my favourite drugstore buys, their mascaras and nail polishes are fab.  Since I don't have many lip products from Rimmel I thought I would try out their lip balms.

These chub sticks are really popular at the minute I have seen that Revlon have bought out their own range too. (yes I did buy some of their's as well) and that Clinique have a line.  They look really handy and because they are not a 'lipstick' or a 'lipgloss' I feel the pressure of applying one of these on the go isn't the same as when you would a apply a lipstick or gloss, I don't know about you but when I am on the go and want to top up my lips I pull out a little mirror and reapply.  These balm sticks made me have the more relaxed approach and apply blindly!

Packaging felt just right, not too big and not too small, easily found in my handbag.  It had a really nice subtle marshmallow scent to it.  It's really moisturising and didn't have a sticky feel to it. It lasted quite well too and I had lots of questions about what I was wearing on my lips.
I chose the shade 'Give me a cuddle' really cute name for a natural baby pink.  It gave a really nice subtle wash of colour to the lips. Perfect for spring!

Rimmel London Colour Rush Balms can be purchased HERE for £5.99 or if you are lucky enough to have 599 points you can get it for free on your Boots card. :)

Do you own any Balm Sticks?
